We offer tours and traditional skills courses on Ulva that aim to foster engagement with the natural and cultural environment of the island.
Welcome to Farafoot
Based on the Isle of Ulva, Farafoot is run by Yvette and Andy Primrose, who live on the Isle of Gometra, at the end of the ‘main road’ the track that links Ulva to Gometra.

Walking Tour of Ulva
A half day tour of the of Ulva that encompasses the natural and human history of the island.
£5 per adult*
Foraging Tour
A tour that samples the delight of the natural wealth of Ulva through the lense of foraging with an emphasis on how people might have fed themselves on these island.
£15.00 per adult*
Prehistorical Tour
An immersive tour using ancient and primitive crafts and skills to garner an insight into how people might have lived on Ulva.
£15.00 per adult*
* All accompanied children under 16 years old are free. We are also happy to provide discounts to groups and anyone else who might need one.
Farafoot Bushcraft
Founded in 2012, Farafoot is run by a Yvette and Andy Primrose who live on the Isle of Gometra, at the western end of the ‘main road’ that crosses Ulva.

We will run courses on set days throughout the season, therefore please contact us to discover what is available if you are coming over especially to be on one of our courses or tours. Alternatively, we are happy to run a tour on request, if we are available.
